THERAPY FOR WOMEN

Counseling for women in the Clarksville & Nashville Tennessee area

Is life feeling like a broken record and you have no energy? Do you wake up feeling anxious? Are you struggling to feel confident in who you are? Are you constantly comparing your bloopers to everyone else’s highlights?

LIFE HAPPENS, LET ME HELP YOU LEARN TO LIVE IT WITH PURPOSE.

Women’s therapy enables you to gain insight into what is causing you to remain stuck and identify tools that you can use to manage and alleviate these issues long after therapy is over. Whether you’re struggling with relationship issues or marital stress, anxious thoughts, or life transitions like being a new mom or going through a divorce, women’s therapy can help you find healthy ways to cope so that your emotions aren’t managing you but you can learn to manage your emotions.

HERE IS HOW I CAN HELP

  • VALIDATE your experience and struggles as a woman to know you are not alone or abnormal

  • IDENTIFY difficult thoughts, emotions and behaviors that are causing you to stay stuck

  • EQUIP you with practical tools to challenge unhealthy thoughts, emotions, and behaviors

  • EMPOWER you to begin to become self-aware and then self-correct any unhealthy thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My approach is to focus on your symptoms or initial problems and work toward finding alternative solutions other than what you’ve been doing. You will always be apart of the process because you are ultimately the expert of your life. My role will be to guide that process so that you start moving in the direction where you gain your voice back, begin to not feel guilty about taking care of yourself, and ultimately be more of who you are meant to be.

I provide counseling for women in the Clarksville and Nashville Tennessee area who are wanting to work through difficult life transitions at home, work, or socially as well as struggles with relationship issues and anxiety. I help women implement practical solutions and healthy coping skills as well as teach them to set realistic expectations and boundaries to be more of themselves.
